Today we learned that we were awarded a $100,000 grant from Meyer Memorial Trust to support our organization as we move forward with our new Community Home Performance (CHP) initiative!
With government funds continually shrinking, the CHP will provide critical funds for us to continue our programs and stabilize our current funding sources. Read more about CHP and community impact in this Portland Observer article.
This grant will provide CEP with the opportunity not only to pay today’s bills, but will also allow us to plan for our future, instead of surviving year-to-year.
This is excellent news and wonderful for the whole community! Great job guys, you will do great things with this support. Sorry that I will miss the party in November!
